It’s been a few days since I’ve written in this blog. The mission of this blog from the outset was a place for me to write about interesting things I’ve seen, heard, or done lately. Well nothing that I’ve done, heard, or seen has been quite interesting. Also, I didn’t want to make this a personal blog; I’ve got Xanga for that stuff, sorry WordPress. But in the interest of posting something substantial on this blog I might have to delve into some of my person stories.
The date is July 14th. About halfway through my summer vacation before school Fall semester begins at San Jose State. Where has the time gone? It seems like last week I was finishing up my last final and starting to relax from school. If you don’t know me, school really tenses me up and almost depresses me. I’m a homebody and there’s nothing better in this world than chillin at home. Anyways, so far in this summer I’ve done these things:
1) Attend a wedding
2) Go to the clubs or bars
3) Played many rounds of golf
4) Play basketball
5) Gone to the beach
Other than the wedding and going to the beach, my summer has been pretty tame. Golf however, has become one of my favorite hobbies. Whether it’s a sport is up for debate but there’s no question that golf requires major skill and tons of patience, both of which I lack to some degree. I remember last year I was just starting to learn how to swing a club. Now I’m on courses, still not that good but brave enough to try. If you’re ever in search of a hobby that doesn’t keep you indoors but isn’t to stressful physically, golf is it. It’s fun and athletic!
Other than that, I’ve been just chillin at home either with family or with friends. Watching America’s Best Dance Crew. My friends and I differ on who we want to win. I’m rooting for Supreme Soul. Who cares if they’re cocky, they’re from up here in Northern California. I can’t not root for them.
So yea, what’s up with everyone else’s summer so far?
